About the Sacksafoam II™
The Sacksafoam II foam injection system transfers and dispenses aerial firefighting foam and is specially designed to be utilized with Bambi Buckets. There are two Sacksafoam II models, depending on the size of Bambi Bucket used. Each model is self-contained and designed to prevent foam from contacting the helicopter.
The Sacksafoam II dispensing pump is operated by a controller box which is remotely mounted on a long wiring harness. A timer on the controller box determines the amount of foam concentrate that is pumped into the Bambi Bucket. The pilot or crew member aboard the helicopter fills the foam tank, controls the dispensing of the foam and then triggers the Bambi Bucket dump.
Sacksafoam MODEL SF2-8044
The Sacksafoam II Model SF2-8044 is used inside smaller helicopters to supply foam to Bambi Bucket models 8096 to 1821.
- Includes two full 5 USG (19 L) foam canisters placed inside the main case for a total of 10 USG (38 L).
- Pumps foam concentrate directly from the foam canisters into the Bambi Bucket.
Sacksafoam MODEL SF2-5598
The Sacksafoam II Model SF2-5598 is for use inside larger helicopters to supply foam to Bambi bucket
models 1821 through HL9800.

Includes an integrated 20 USG (76 L) tank with space for an additional 5 USG (19 L) canister.

Dedicated fill pump automatically begins to fill the larger tank from a 5 USG (19 L) canister when volume is low.
ALL Sacksafoam II MODELS
- Include a digital controller, wire harness and internal foam reservoir/injector.
- Add the Sacksafoam PLUS system for an additional 40 USG (151 L) of foam supply, reducing the need to land and refill (models BB5566 HD to HL9800)
