The LVM Heavy Ground Fuel Container

DELTA, BC CANDA – May 10, 2022 – SEI Industries Ltd. (SEI) introduces the LVM Heavy Ground Fuel Container to meet requirements of Canadian Department of National Defence (DND) Logistics Vehicle Modernization Program.

The LVM Heavy ground fuel container is an intermodal self-contained fuel transport and dispensing system for diesel fuel. The first completed unit was engineered, tested and manufactured at SEI’s newly upgraded project building in Delta BC.

This 10,000 L fuel container is certified to CSA-B625 and meets all technical requirements outlined by DND for the LVM project. The Container consists of two main elements: a stainless-steel storage tank and a mechanical section with a diesel engine driven pumping system.

A retractable working platform with stairs enables an operator to access the controls from the ground when the Container is mounted.

A retractable ladder is provided for access to the top of the container. A walkway with handrails allows operators to access the tank top hatch for top filling and level measurement.

The LVM Project Building located in Delta, BC, Canada

The LVM Heavy Ground Container is part of SEI’s larger strategic approach to be first and develop all heavy containers required for the LVM program. In addition to diesel, SEI will manufacture containers for aviation, water and firefighting.

SEI’s objective is to provide a low risk, compliant solution at the best possible price and highest Canadian content value for all units manufactured under the LVM project. To achieve this mission, SEI has formed exclusive supply agreements with highly qualified Canadian partners including Wabash Mfg. Inc (AB), BI Pure Water (BC) and Infiltek (ON).

The LVM project is expected to create up to 60 new full-time positions in British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario.
