SEI Industries Ltd. has been supporting military forces around the world with rapidly deployable fuel and water options (storage, transferring, transportation and pumping systems) for more than 20 years.  SEI manufactures a wide selection of military specification products for both NATO and non-NATO countries.
 
Over the past two decades, SEI has gained a depth of experience engineering and manufacturing custom mission support solutions for combat and special forces as well as humanitarian, peacekeeping and policing missions.  Some custom solutions include abolition liquid storage, sewage treatment ponds, water monitoring equipment, micro forward area refueling equipment (FARE) and platform specific range extension or fuel delivery solutions for Zodiac boats to C-130 transports.
 
In addition to our experience and commitment, all SEI military clients can also depend on dedicated supply life cycle management (LCM) and field support representatives (FSRs).
 
 
A Brief History of Collapsible Fuel Tanks
 
SEI's Arctic King™, Desert King™ and Jungle King™ series of collapsible fuel tanks were invented to provide forces, operating in specific environments, with tanks that offer an extended service life cycle not found in traditional US military specification tanks.
 
Originally, collapsible fuel tanks were designed to meet US military standards that were developed in the late 1980s.  SEI started manufacturing collapsible fuel tanks for the Canadian military in 1986 to support  UN peacekeepers.  At the time, the Department of National Defence (DND) was looking for a domestic supplier and was attracted by SEI’s reputation for innovative fabric products.  Up to that point, DND had been purchasing tanks from US suppliers but the short life cycle of 6-18 months didn’t fit DND’s budget. 
 
Although this short cycle suited the US military model, DND did not have the money to keep replacing tanks every 6-18 months so SEI set out to develop a tank that exceeded 18 months of service life.  Now, it's common to see SEI's tanks lasting 5-10 years. 
 
 
Military Fuel/Water Distribution Systems
 
SEI has dedicated NATO Stock Numbers (NSNs) for many of its individual products and turnkey fuel or water systems including the Fuel Storage and Distribution System (FSDS), Water Storage and Distribution System (WSDS), High Pressure Aviation Refueling System (HPARS) and the new FS34DS (a fuel distribution system for rapid deployment).
 
SEI also specializes in modular systems that can be expanded depending on mission requirements.  If it's liquid storage, transport, transferring, filtering or metering, militaries can depend on SEI to meet their mission requirements.
  • Fuel Storage and Distribution System (FSDS)

    • Military bulk fuel storage system.  Designed for quick set up and operation without support power.
  • High Pressure Aviation Refueling System (HPARS)

    • The HPARS system is intended for the fueling and defueling of aircraft and tanker trucks.

    • A portable gas station that may be transported to site, by land, sea or air, for rapid deployment.
